Lazy.

Fellow Bloggers,

You may have acknowledged that I have been a little 'lazy' at keeping up with this blog, and to make amends, I am dearly sorry. I cannot say that I've been busy, because unfortunately I havent, I just consume my time with television and facebook, which quite frankly, and honestly is sometimes a waste of time. What makes it even worse is, that I havent read a book in ages, and that is shameful for someone like myself, who always has her head in a book.

At the start of this week, I checked my e-mail, and to justify that I've been away so long were 18 messages! my google mail had been made whilst starting this blog, and considering, that isn't a very long time. The only messages I get are from Teen Vogue, and notifications of what I've subscribed to.

Well, I wasn't going to stay on there long, when I saw an e-mail from a woman called Radhika, that was involved in the website 'Be In Style' - if you want to visit this website, there is an icon to the right - and she wanted me to be included on their blog roll. I was so dumbstruck, because this means that a few people have recognised and enjoyed my ordinary, blah-blah-blah blog. This made me feel really ashamed about my laziness, because some are going out of their way to get me out there to more readers, and all I'm doing is posting a couple of paragraphs about the odd thing or too. Now don't contradict me and say 'no you havent, j'aime', because I know what I have been doing.

Fortunately for me, I did not slack long enough to miss a good chance like this. Another e-mail goes by, from Rachel, a co-designer of Style Stalker. She noted that she enjoyed reading my blog, and wants me to be one of the first to view one of their videos, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Sue-ann and Rachel have brilliant designs, that are clevery crafted and luscious to the eye. From creams to blacks, blues to reds, with the most vibrant and enthusiastic model you could ever imagine!
There are many things that I appreciate about this Design house, but I must point out two things: 1. As you already know, their name is Style Stalker, the concept of this name is brilliant, because it's not gloating about general fashion, it speaks of individual style, which I think is great!
2. They have very affordable prices, that doesn't push limits, offering you the best quality you can afford!

Make sure you check out their blog, and clothes site:

So, though I've been overly lazy, I think waiting just a little bit, has produced the best post, since the 21 questions. I enjoy talking about other people's success, it makes me feel all warm inside. Anyhow, I must be off, I have to check all your blogs!

The Hairstyle of the Minute.

Think of the mohawk. Then padd hair on one side. Any side and there you have it. The half shaven mohawk.
Or
Think of the mohawk again, then adjust it with one big poney tail and a decorative fringe!
Add colour, and spoonful of highlights.
There you have it, the hairstyle of the minute. To some, this hairstyle is extreme, but it seems to be taking over every fashion-able head.

Lets name a few:

  • Rihanna
  • Cassie
  • Alice Dellal

I have to say my least favourite person to adorn this hairstyle is: Cassie.
Let me clarify. I personally feel that she has shaven off too much of her hair, and it makes her look semi-bald. Don't get me wrong, but the whole idea of the half-shaven look is too look shaven, not bald, and I feel that Cassie's style is basically bald.

Where as, Alice Dellal and Rihanna, have kept the back, so as to not don the bald look. May I just note, that I couldn't get hold of any recent photograph of Rihanna blond with better viewing, so I ''borrowed'' the second photograph from a friend, that coincidently, has the shaven look!

Everybody Meet Lois!

To just rub it in, Lois, was the first person that I had ever seen with this particular hairstyle. Which initially I thought was quite extreme. But to see how quickly myself and others got hooked to this original hairstyle amazes me.
Its dramatic, and modern and great for people whose hair breaks everytime it's growing. i.e moi. But don't go off track, its also quite popular among longer haired beings.

Remember the scraped back look, well this is a new fresher, easier version. No gel or moose added. Just a pair of clippers. (okay, shaver - sounds better with clippers!)

But please darlings, the only reason for submitting these blogs is to get some replies. So I want to hear you opinions on this particular hairstyle, whether good or bad, I want to hear it.

Well thankyou.
This is basically my come-back post.

The Hooligan of English Fashion

Dearest Confidante,

Alexander McQueen has past away. At 40! Misery has swept upon me, and I'm bug eyed over my scrapbook with him and his creations sprawled on top.
Bright colours, sucker for his shoes and his big red lipped models. Such structure and collection and originality.
The best Fashion Maestro!
Why do people die? Good people?

Some words directed to him and his fashion:

'Fashion Visionary'
'Fairy tales'
'Tree Nymphs'
'Quality'

I wasn't even meant to do blogger today, but this is an official outcry! He is amazing!
Designer of the Year 4 times. I'm devasted. Being notified by a facebook friend was horrible, I had to quickly pounce on google to see if it was true.

Jeezy! First MJ now A.McQ!
Between him and Viv Westie, they both define British Fashion.

King and Queen of British Fashion.
But now the Queen is lost!

Guess Who's Back?

Dearest Confidants,

I dearly apologise for leaving you with many questionnaires! But I have to admit, you sure did like it. J'aime is back everybody, first personal post for the New Year. As well as that fact that my New Years Reso. is proving very hard. Let me refresh your memory about My Year of Elegance. For after a few days, I had to take a break. Its so hard to be prim and proper!
But one thing good that squeezed through my Primness, if my writing. Jeez, I'm finding new words everyday. I've also started a Journal, do not mistake this for Diary.

Reasons for not having Diaries:

1. I cannot dedicate myself to a daily diary
2. Diaries are time consuming, especially when you're supposed to write in it at the end of the day, and I for one surely need my Sleep.
3. I've wasted my money over the years, buying dairies that only get filled for about a week.
4. I have no resembelence to Bridget Jones.

The journal is sort of like this blog, so I will be posting some of the journal onto here, basically because I cannot be bothered to write something up without taking time to think about it, and deary me, this blog takes time!
Lets start with the 6th of Feb,2010.

[I am not American, but somehow I prefer to write it like this]

Dearest Confidante,
Apologises for not continuing with yesterday's account (I started writing one before, but I was more interested in Take Me Out). I unfortunately lost enthusiasm to such a good subject. Though, never mind [chummy]. I have to say that if I lose enthusiam, never mind how big a subject, I refure to carry on. I suppose I'm quite stubborn in that respect, but no time to clarify, and beat around the bush. What Has Hooked me today?

*Newspapers
*News BBC

Recently, I've had a particular thriving obsession with newspapers and New Broadcastings -BBC News. As an intellectual being, I prefer quite an educated read. This consists of broadsheets named: The Guardian, The Times, The Observer and possibly The Independent. I tend to snub my nose at any gossiping tabloids.
However, lets not procede into that debate. This afternoon I aqainted myself with the Guardian.

>MP Expenses
>John Terry
>BAE
>Toyota
>Tory Party
>Climate Change

Seemed to hold the columns. In spite of the fact that these people or things are not the most popular at the moment, the read was very interesting.
Dearest Confidante, you may not know me well, but one fact I ensure you must know is that I have a deep affection for reading. From fictional to factual. Interesting gossip to hearbreakingly rare stories. I should point out that I am very selective, but I do vary in genre.
Anyhow, I still enjoyed and merely devoured my favoured broadsheet.
Secondly, my favourite TV News Broadcast, otherwise known as the BBC. This abbreviation stands for: British Broadcasting Corporatiion. As I've mentioned before, intelligent products appeal to me. I find BBC news very intellectual. GMTV and ITV news cannot compare.
They are too tak-a-tive. As well as the fact that they involve celebrities a lot. My preferance is forever with BBC news.

From now on, I'll adapt myself from watching the Simpsons and Hollyoads through the hour of six and instead watch BBc news.
Did I mention I want to be a journalist? For maybe a Newspaper like The Times or the Guardian or the Observer.

Or my very own (last minute made Newspaper): The Educator!

Yours,
Darling Writer.

Hope you enjoyed that. Bahh.
