The weather reports are now regularly using the word 'Spring' in possibly every news cast. Which excites me terribly. I love Spring and Summer. 2 out of the 4 best seasons of the year.
Popping up once in a while is the Sun. You actually don't know how much I love the Sun. It turns my hair brown -which is a good'un - and gives me a nice richer skin colour. Isn't anyone else excited about the Sun, and it's shine?
I have no idea what I'm getting up to over the Summer Holidays. Don't get me wrong, I'm not wishing time away, but I just can't wait to stroll across the Trent bridge, spying the mucky cows, and cute ducks and ducklings. It seriously takes my breathe ways.
There is something so relaxing about Frenchie music. I'm listening to one of their radio stations now, and I dream about cycling through Paris'es cobbled streets. Or maybe somewhere quieter, Possibly Toulouse. Where I can leave my bicycle outside, and skip into the bakery, then leaving with a batch of the finest french biscuits. I think that's what's possibly getting me in the mood for summer.
I'm just rabbling here. Since I've been neglecting the blog, I thought I could just top it up, with a few of my feelings and ramblings.
This time I have been busy! Studying newspapers, so that I understand the whole story, instead of just skimming them. This consists of highlighting particular words, and circling around more important words with a red-pen. It may sound like not a lot of fun, but I am so interested in journalism, that you cannot dissuade me.
Right now, I'm pushing away an A-Level Business Studies book. Since I'm doing BusStud at GCSEs, I thought I'd get a real big headstart, but at the moment, I'm trying to pick out some French words I know from the radio. I got the word 'journal' and 'premier' which means 'newspaper' and 'first'. Great!
I love French, it is such a fascinating language. How it is so different from 'simple' English, even though English is sometimes a lot harder for those studying it, rather than learning it. But with Francais, there's genders to consider, and accents, and past participles and getting the words in the right order. It is a lot of work, but then Chinese Mandarin is harder, so I will not moan!
I love saying long sentences in French that I just thought of. A recent one is: Ma Mére est jolié et grand comme un manniquin!
My mother is pretty and tall like a model.
My mother isn't tall, but I say shes pretty! Love my mummy.
Okay then, ramble terminated.
J'aime
